Our Team

  • Megan Spross

Megan is the founder of Rebellious Young Readers. She has a Master’s degree in Education from Auburn University (War Eagle). She was a stay at home mom when she read stories of books being taken off shelves around the country. As a former teacher for nearly a decade, she wanted to do something. Megan decided to combine her passions of curriculum writing, reading, and social activism and this is how Rebellious Young Readers was born.

Megan lives in New York City with her husband and two sons. When Megan is not working on Rebellious Young Readers she enjoys baking, traveling, spending time with her family, and reading. She loves watching the Atlanta Braves and her Auburn Tigers. She probably has a coffee in her hand and Taylor Swift playing in the background.
